Website

My group and I have generated a website using wix.com.  It has a variety of templates available, the one we chose specifically focuses on our Artist and her work. Our host address is as follow. We had planned to use a close up image of the Artist, though of her looking away, so it gives off a natural vibe. We had also planned to add a little comment box at the extreme end of the website for the comments.

Today we started the main task of our Music Promotional Package, positioning or clips in order in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. My group members and I had begun the work in school and continued it on Skype.

Shoot Day 4

Today is the last day of our shoot. We had to display a raining effect on our subject, we could've easily done it through Adobe After Effects but we generated synthetic rain in our school garden through a pipe. We also generated a Go Pro to capture a birds eye view of our actress. Also, we took extra clips of our actress lip syncing in case we're short of any good content filling in the remaining seconds of our song.

Shoot Day 3

Shoot so far has been going smooth. Once again it was a sunny day, we followed the same pattern for the camera settings. Shah Allah Ditta in D-12 was an under developed place, this gave off a favourable less fabricated, synthetic vibe.

Shoot Day 2

At Rawal Dam, we videotaped our second day of shoot, but since there was no clean water there, we could not create the story we had planned in our story board, we had to make slight changes. We shot rest of the scenes as planned and planned to add a few more shots for her lip syncing.

Since our shoot was outside and there was a lot of natural light available, we used 30 and 18 to 140 mm lens with the camera settings at ISO 200 and f 1.8.

Shoot Day 1

We had planned the first day of our shoot at the F-9 park today at the 16th Feb 2017, after checking the weather a couple of times and waiting for a sunny day. Everything was done as we planned with the help of the storyboard and planning scheme which we kept with us all the time. However, a few scenes of the child star couldn't be shot because she had to leave, so we've left them for another day.

It was a bright sunny morning, we set our camera at IOS 100 with f 1.8. We also used a 50 mm lens.

Location

We shortlisted four locations that make it easier for the audience to understand the meaning behind the "Run Away". We believed that disclosing many locations show how our 'subject' is lost, you'll have to dig as deep as our "lost girl" to understand her story.
Few shots of our location:

Byzantium Records

For concluding record label name we held a group meeting today. After thinking over it for a couple of minutes, it popped into our heads, a person once said, philosophy won't lead us anywhere with media, and there we had something, something just as adequate as to describe us and prove him wrong beautifully; Byzantium: A lost Island.

Media Festival'17

We took part in an inter school event; BMI Media Fest. We decided to take part in the category "Public Advertisement". Our idea was simple as it focused on the consequences of smoking, but we wanted to highlight the waste of money that could've helped someone worthy or in need of it. Our word pitch is simple as it follows.
"We don't pay to save lives, but to destroy our own".
We won the award for this video.

Cast

Our music video is about a teenage girl who is a victim of her own thoughts; and those fearful, frightening thoughts are triggered by the society and the role of women in it. For the character of the lost girl we've chosen Sabrina Khan, who seems to perfectly fit and excel at it and to play the younger version, we've chosen her very own little cousin, Michelle Khan.

Class Practice

Today our teacher introduced us to Masking which is done using the pen tool. We cloned a person using masking technique. Editing was all done in school.
